The Apostles' Creed has been confessed by Christians for centuries, but true belief in Jesus goes far beyond reciting the right words. Jesus is the unique, eternal Son of God who took on full human flesh, suffered real injustice, died a willing and purposeful death, and rose again on the third day. He now reigns at the right hand of the Father and is coming again to judge the living and the dead. Believing in Jesus as the Gospels present Him means not just affirming these truths, but actually doing what He says. As Jesus asked in Luke 6, why call Him Lord while ignoring His words? Faith that does not move is just information. Identify one teaching of Jesus you know but have not yet acted on, and take a concrete step toward living it out.
