1 Corinthians 2:6-3:4
We're Too Easily Satisfied

Many Christians settle for surface-level faith when God offers profound depths through His Holy Spirit. Paul distinguishes between worldly wisdom that promotes self-interest and God's wisdom that leads us to serve others like Jesus. The Holy Spirit teaches us and brings us into the experience of all God's gifts, making everything Christ accomplished available to us. Being spiritual means using the Spirit's resources to follow Christ's way of the cross, not to chase cultural desires. God is like an overflowing fountain who delights to give generously, and we honor Him by receiving gratefully and asking for more. Don't settle for less than what God freely offers through His Spirit.
